Goldsmiths Workshop (Royal Goldsmiths, Thimphu) — this is one of the most interesting things to do in Thimphu for people interested in jewelry and metals. This workshop is arranged and managed by the Government and is a great place to see the production of traditional Bhutanese jewelry. You will see how ornaments in gold, copper, and silver are made, along with the making of huge pieces for the monasteries like finials and statue arches.
